From November 2004 to 2007, we returned to that tradition and the Pipe Band once again piped their way around the grounds of the homestead each year while musicians, artists and stallholders entertained the crowds enjoying the experience and atmosphere.  The children enjoyed pony rides and other activities.

This event will now be a regular event at Opawa and hopes to encourage travelers and locals alike to simply 'take the time to relax and enjoy'!
